How Veterinary CE Calculation Works

You can earn up to 41.5 C.E. at the Conference.  Breakfast sessions, lunch sessions and evening sessions are part of the hours you can earn at 1 credit hour each.

Certificate of Attendance and number of CE hours you receive will be based on your registration type (Veterinarian, Veterinary Technician/Nurse, Practice Manager, etc). Some boards have limitations on the hours accepted in certain categories or restrictions on methods of delivery for veterinary CE as well as specific procedures for certification and documentation of attendance. Compliance is the responsibility of the registrant.

  • 75-minute session = 1.5 CE credit hours
  • 50-minute session = 1 CE credit hour
  • 20-minute session = 0.5 CE credit hour
  • 15-minute session = 0.25 CE credit hour

15 and 20 minute session are NOT RACE approved.

Veterinary CE credits for Hands-on Laboratories, Meet the Professor Luncheons and Rounds (formerly Masterclasses) are calculated on the number of hours each entails. It is the attendees’ responsibility to track and report their earned CE hours to the appropriate licensing boards.
