How do I submit to be a speaker?

Thank you for your interest in speaking at VMX. Our speakers and programming have already been selected for VMX 2025. If you would like to be considered for VMX 2026, please complete our New Speaker Application here. We pass along all applications to the applicable Program Chairs and they will reach out to you if they have any questions or are interested in adding you to their program.

PLEASE NOTE:

This application is for speakers interested in presenting in our scientific educational program. We are not taking applications for professional, motivational, or other types of speakers at this time.

This application is for new speakers only. If you have previously spoken at an NAVC conference please contact the program chair that selected you to express your interest in speaking again.

All Speakers must meet RACE requirements.

Speakers with DVM (or equivalent) and CVT (or equivalent) will be considered, as well as speakers with similar levels of education such as Ph.D., JD, MBA for example (or equivalent). Speakers with specialty certification are often preferred (e.g., VTS, DACVIM, or DECZM, or equivalent)

All speakers are expected to present a MINIMUM of 4 hours of session content. We are unable to accept proposals for single sessions. Content is not allowed to be primarily promotional, advertisement, or have a commercial purpose. Speakers and individuals representing our industry partners are encouraged to reach out to our sponsorships team to arrange for any sponsored speaking opportunities Sponsorships@navc.com

All speaker applications will be reviewed by NAVC staff to meet these requirements and for appropriateness for our audience. Those applications are held in a database for at least 2 years and that database can be used by our independent program chairs to select speakers as needed but this database is not the only resource utilized for speaker selection. You are welcome to apply again after those 2 years to refresh your application in that database.
