Veterinary CE credits for Hands-on Laboratories, Meet the Professor Luncheons and Rounds (formerly Masterclasses) are calculated on the number of hours each entails. It is the attendees’ responsibility to track and report their earned CE hours to the appropriate licensing boards.
Track Your CE
To record CE attendance, tap your VMX name badge with the door monitor each time you enter a session. We recommend you also document each CE session you attend on the Record of Participation in CE Programs form.
The VMX 2019 courses meet the requirements for CE credits in jurisdictions that recognize AAVSB RACE approval.* Some boards have limitations on the hours accepted in certain categories or restrictions on methods of delivery for veterinary CE as well as specific procedures for certification and documentation of attendance. Compliance is the responsibility of the registrant.
How Veterinary CE Calculation Works:
- 75-minute session = 1.5 CE credit hours
- 50-minute session = 1 CE credit hour
- 20-minute session = 0.25 CE credit hour
Procedures for certification and documentation of attendance are determined by the individual state board. Compliance with these policies is the responsibility of the registrant. We recommend that you keep a handwritten record of your session attendance to compare with the copy you can email or print at your convenience after the conference, of before you leave at the the VMX Cyber Cafe or CE Center at Registration.
Veterinarians Licensed in Texas
Veterinarians licensed in Texas MUST obtain their CE Certificates prior to leaving VMX. Please print your certificates at the VMX Cyber Cafe or CE Center at Registration. They cannot be mailed or issued after VMX.
How Do I Access My Certificate?
You may access any CE credit hours that you tracked at VMX by logging in to the Attendee Service Center, accessible through NAVC.com/CE. You must have your email address and password to log in. You may download and edit your records at your convenience. If you prefer to print them onsite at VMX, you can do so at the VMX Cyber Cafe or CE Center at Registration, Monday - Wednesday.
