To enable multi-factor authentication (MFA), which is also known as two-factor authentication, you will need to log into your VetFolio account, and from your Learner Dashboard, navigate to your account settings.
1. After logging into your VetFolio account, click the dropdown arrow beside your initials in the top right corner of your Learner Dashboard, then click Account.
2. In the Multi-Factor Authentication section of your Account Info tab, enter your current password and click Verify.
3. Next, your screen will prompt you to finalize your setup. If you already have an authenticator tool installed on your mobile device, skip to the next step. If you do not already have an authenticator tool downloaded on your mobile device, navigate to your app store and download the tool of your choice. While many tools will work for the VetFolio website, we recommend using our preferred tool, Google Authenticator. As with any app, you will need to download and set up your account.
- NOTE: This app is not connected to your VetFolio account, and is a third-party authenticator tool.
4. Open your authenticator tool on your mobile device and scan the QR code. This will allow your authenticator tool to create a verification code similar to the one pictured below. Type the provided code from your authenticator tool into the field on your VetFolio account pictured below, and click Activate.
